Doylestown, PA (April 7, 2014) Vita Education Services, the lead literacy agency in Bucks County and the largest provider of educational services in the Bucks County Correctional Facility, has been awarded a $10,000 grant in support of educational programs by the Connelly Foundation. Vita’s programs, which annually serve approximately 1,300 individuals, include Basic Literacy, GED Preparation, Family Literacy, English as a Second Language, Decisions for Living, Jobs Readiness, and Decisions for Teens.
The Connelly Foundation’s mission is to foster learning and to enhance the quality of life in the greater Philadelphia region. “We greatly appreciate the support of the Connelly Foundation in helping Bucks County residents improve their literacy and decision-making skills,” said Linda Wolfson, Vita’s Executive Director.
